Expression Not Suppression

It is no secret that the beauty industry has profited off of the low self-esteem of many of us growing up.

Telling us we are to small or too big, too out of trend, or trying too hard.

But it is freaking 2022!

So out with the old way of thinking and in with the new I say.

I have been in the beauty industry for nearly a decade as a makeup artist, and I have adored almost all of it, but have faced pretty ugly realities of the beauty industry as well.

But I LOVE what I do!

And I want to talk about how makeup, fashion, and self-care can be about expression and not the suppression of a part of yourself to fit into the box.

I personally want to kick that stupid box away and step into a new way of thinking and feeling.

So I am starting with what I know and love the most.

And that is the real beauty of makeup, fashion, and looking after one's self.

We are not here to talk about covering up but rather showing up as the real and full sentient beings we are.
