Style is Courageous

It is no secret that the fashion industry is full of creatively, fierce and exciting ideas.

But I want to talk about every morning when we open our cupboard and decide how to present ourselves.

This can be an exciting moment or a dreaded one. But I believe it can set the tone for our day.

Who do we choose to be that day and do we choose to be our true selves?

At the end of the day, we are the ones who have to wake up in our own skin and step out into the world as we are. No one else can take that journey for us and it is our truth alone to live out.

The beauty of self-expression never fails to inspire me everyday and fashion and makeup are tools that I adore when it comes to executing how I feel.

My journey in finding style has not been the smoothest, I have had more fashion disasters than I can count!

But I am also proud that I never tried to fit the box.

Because even in those ridiculous looks I was having fun and felt like a version of myself that I liked.

Exploring our styles is inevitably going to lead to some laugheer at a few gawky looks, but many proud moments of dressing exactly how we want to.

In a world fulled with so much pressure and tragedy, it is okay to talk about everyday kindness, authenticity, and courage.

By just trying and putting yourself out there...

Well, I think that is fucking courageous!
