Why A Kind Rebel?

Why did I set up A

Kind Rebel as the title of this blog?

Well, I wanted to show how these two words can live in harmony together.

That acts of kindness and empathy can exist alongside being a badass rebel that pushes boundaries and sticks it to the man.

We do not have to give up our softness and kindness to make waves.

In a society that profits off of lowing self-esteem and pushing people into this rubbish box of conformity, is not loving ourselves and expressing ourselves the ultimate act of rebellion?

Sometimes just putting on that extra eyeliner or wearing those pair of statement shoes we've been dying to try can be rebellious within itself.

Taking small steps in our life that may seem unimportant to the outer eye, can be huge in the great story of our lives.

We can not succeed in a box made generically for the average Joe.

A sure path to nowhere is trying to be someone else.

Rather be judged for who you are than for a character we made up and live unhappily in.

Being a Kind Rebel is about having the guts to step into this world as you are.

Stand up for what you believe in.

And never letting go of kindness and compassion.
